Back in November, Hub and I headed out to Berry College to take pictures of these beautiful people on a beautiful campus.  Seriously, these are some of my favorite pictures ever!

Lovely is the perfect word for these classy people!  I had a lot of fun shooting these two several weeks ago.  They are near to my heart because they both love to do the things I love to do – photography and art!  J does photography on the side and S makes and sells jewelry (among other things) on the side.  I loved seeing how much fun they have together.  Check em out…

So sweet!

Gorgeous Smile in the next one…

J, the photographer, found us this awesome spot to shoot in – it had a waterfall, golf course, and tons of other interesting scenery.  It was perfect!

I’m so jealous of S’ red hair – its such a gorgeous color- and she is such a model.

See what I mean about fun?  I love this one!

S & J, thanks so much for letting me shoot these pictures of you!  I hope I captured the life and love in your relationship as well as it captured me (corny, I know, but seriously!)

Check out S’ jewelry website here!

A few weeks back, I was invited to come to the beautiful N.C. Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to photograph Johnny with his daughters.

There is something sweet about the relationship between a father and his daughters!  I’ve always known that from my own family (my dad has 4 girls!) and it’s great to see it in other families as well.

Check out my favorites from Johnny’s session.

You can tell – these little girls sure love their daddy!

The two youngest are twins though you couldn’t tell by looking at them.

But all three of these girls do have one major thing in common – they are radiant, full of life – and energy!

The Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens are Gorgeous!

They completely beat ours here in Atlanta, in my opinion.

Check out this fountain – I loved capturing one of the twins as she discovered that the fountain will get you wet if you walk under it {click on the picture to see her reaction bigger}.

SO Adorable!  Definitely worth getting wet over!

And here’s her big sister after playing in the fountain:

Johnny, thank you so much for inviting me to come up to North Carolina to meet you and your family!  I had so much fun getting to know you all!

You are such a great dad, with amazing girls!

I hope I get to see you all again soon!

– that dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our inmost hearts, ever quite wish to.  ~Dodie Smith

I love this quote – its so true!

This post is dedicated to “that dear octopus” of one of my best friends, Jill.

You can just see the love in their family – I love how they are all so relaxed and easy going with each other.

Something I learned about this family during the shoot: None of them like scary movies AT ALL.

And they also prefer happy endings.

Another thing I learned is that the girls aren’t the greatest at synchronized jumping (and not for lack of practice!) …

Her favorite season being fall,

I love that she wanted to take some of her pictures at her grandmother’s house.

She has spent countless hours and accumulated so many memories there and the property is so beautiful!

This one is definitely my favorite!

She’s so gorgeous!

Her Grandma has a lake, complete with a dock in her backyard! I am so jealous!
